There’s nothing like beginning a brand new year….. with a fresh start.
Which is why right about now you can find me knee deep in a major home restyling project. Every home needs a bit of updating and redefining at some point. And for our phase three home? That time is now!
Welcome to my Refreshing the Nest project.
With a to-do list a mile long, I’m going room by room, space by space –inside and out—to restyle and fine-tune so we can be ready for what ever exciting opportunities lie ahead. With our last kid a minute from life in the real world, you never quite know what’s next. Time to give this old Georgian a fresh new vibe!
step one: dining room chairs
Starting a re-fresh in the least frequently used room in the house? Works for me!
So out with the mahogany and in with a more casual, modern option…….and the comfy, clean lines of Williams-Sonoma Home’s Fitzgerald Dining Chairs turned out to be the perfect fit.
And after years of kid-and-dog friendly upholstery choices, their easy care performance fabric opened the door to a whole new world of lighter, more on-trend fabric shades. Finally. Thank you.
But that’s not to say there weren’t a hand full of others that caught my eye. Here are a few personal favorites that make great choices for any phase three home re-fresh!
Larchmont Dining Chair, Serena & Lily.
Chateau Dining Chair, Wisteria.
Tigris Rattan Dining Chair, Crate & Barrel.
Ansel Dining Chair, Room & Board.
Selamat Designs Gardenia Dining Chair, Domino.
Constance Wood Dining Chair, Ballard Designs.
